  I am almost reluctant to tell you of my awesome experience at Ebb Tide.  If too many people know then I might not get a seat when I go back.  Saturday was a beach day & beach days for me require burgers. My friend suggested Ebb Tide since I am visiting from Boston.  First impressions, this place started out as a dive bar & they are hanging on to that image with both hands.
  Next, greetings - we sat at the bar, which was moderately busy.  We were acknowledged quickly, menus produced & drinks fetched.
  Appetizer of Southwest egg rolls was good, quick & hot.
  I went for the burgeriest burger - cheeseburger with American on a roll. Comes with tomato, lettuce & raw red onion & fries. It was perfect in everyway.  Cooked medium as requested.  I could barely carry on a conversation because I couldn't put it down.  In fact, the only time I put it down was to wipe my face because it was so good & juicy.
  I left nothing on the plate except the pickles because I forgot to tell them to hold off on them.
  My friend enjoyed the party melt which comes on rye.
  Music was an eclectic mix & as a special bonus for the visiting - 2 of the 3 attentive bartenders were from Boston!

  I will never enter this establishment again. It pains me to say this, because this was one of my favorite local bars. I went with a group of friends, and one of my friends was very rudely denied service. He was in the process of getting a new license, and had a temporary paper (along w old ID) and was denied. We get it, sometimes bartenders don't want to take chances with those situations. He had multiple forms of ID, and the police came to verify that it was 100% acceptable. He was still denied. It saddens me.... I hope this place goes under new management. The bartender is entitled to deny service -- however, it never feels good being denied service for no reason ! Sad!

  This is your friendly neighborhood dive bar and nothing more. Don't come in here expecting gourmet cuisine and a trendy atmosphere because that's not what Ebb Tide is. What you do get here is dependably good fried food, a large selection of beers on tap, friendly service and a fun crowd to watch the game with. The place can get packed but there always seems to a be a seat available. We love coming here to grab a beer after work or to watch some Sunday football.

  In three years of being a parent I've never been treated so poorly. This place supposedly has great burgers. Well they removed us for showing up with a toddler to their establishment after they didn't have a lid for his milk and he spilt it on himself and started crying. The overweight bartender with red hair then came over and asked us to go outside. Guess she showed us! Now I'll show them by posting this review. Don't eat here. Don't patron here if you have a family and know what it's like when you are trying to eat out. This place doesn't deserve business from anyone.
